Sarah Stacey designs spaces that feel both unexpected and unmistakably yours — rooms with layers, history, and a point of view that couldn't belong to anyone else.
Growing up in South Louisiana, Sarah was often the youngest person at an antique auction, learning to see beauty that had nothing to do with what was currently in style. New Orleans and Baton Rouge gave her an early education in eclecticism and fearless design choices. World travel would later pierce any notion of a conservative style, ultimately inspiring the foundation of Sarah Stacey Interior Design. With a background in studio art and interior design from Louisiana State University, Sarah brings both a cultivated eye and a rigorous compositional foundation to every project.
Each project begins with listening and drawing out what a client loves, how they live, and what their home needs to say about who they are. The result is never generic. It's a space that holds their story in every layer: the antiques they've collected, the art they can't stop thinking about, the colors that make them feel most alive.
Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Garden & Gun, Tribeza, and Nashville Interiors, and she was selected as a designer for the 2025 Kips Bay Dallas Decorator Show House.
Sarah lives in Texas with her husband, a touring rock-and-roll musician, and their son. That life is layered, joyful, and always in motion — and it shows up in everything she makes.

Abbey manages purchasing, bookkeeping, invoicing, and billing for the studio. She tracks every order from approval through delivery, stays on top of vendor communications, and handles issues as they come up. If you have a question about an order or an invoice, Abbey will have a clear answer.
