Often included in trips to antique auctions as a young girl, the designer recognized beauty found beyond current trends early on. Growing up in Louisiana, Sarah absorbed a mosaic of styles from New Orleans and Baton Rouge, developing an appreciation for eclecticism and fearless design choices. World travel would later pierce any notion of a conservative style, ultimately inspiring the foundation of Sarah Stacey Interior Design.
Each project reflects Sarah’s cultivated tastes and her talent for drawing out her clients’ personal style, allowing it to evolve naturally throughout the process. The outcome is a space that feels unexpected yet unmistakably theirs. With a background in studio art and interior design from Louisiana State University, Sarah now resides in Texas with her husband, a touring rock-and-roll musician, and their son. Their vibrant lifestyle infuses her work with an energy that inspires bold, joyful, and layered designs.

Sarah gravitates toward artful, high-end spaces where elegant antiques and unique vintage treasures bring depth and character. When clients permit, she’s known to incorporate unexpected elements—often balancing them with a cozy quilt, as she holds that nothing should be too precious to be functional. If an antique has lasted this long, it’s built to endure. This grounded perspective is at the heart of her confident, artistic approach.
Guided by her purpose from an early age, Sarah graduated from O’More College of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art, specializing in interior design.
