Sarah Stacey Interior Design is a full service studio in Texas and Tennessee. We design homes and hospitality spaces with character, point of view, and a refusal to play it safe. Our studio takes on a limited number of clients each year so every project gets our hands on approach from start to finish.

SARAH STACEY

Sarah grew up in South Louisiana, spending weekends at antique auctions in New Orleans with her parents. She learned early how to spot beauty on her own terms and how to judge a piece on its own merits rather than whether it was trending.

Every project starts with listening. We get to know how you live, what you collect, the colors that you love most, and which spaces in your home matter most to your everyday life. Then we shape the design around those details through the architecture, materials, furnishings, art, and collected objects that make the space feel fully connected to you.

Recent recognition includes House Beautiful’s Next Wave Class of 2026, Best Whole Home Interior Design and Best Hotel Design at the 2026 Austin Home & Design Awards, and the 2025 Kips Bay Dallas Decorator Show House.

Sarah lives in a historic neighborhood outside Austin, where her cottage garden has taken over nearly every inch of the property. She shares her home with her partner, a musician and writer, and their five year old son Callan. Her life is joyful, electric, colorful, and that shows up in everything she creates.

MISSION:

The spaces people live, gather, and celebrate in should feel personal, welcoming, and full of character. We design homes and hospitality spaces around your routines, your collections, and the way you actually live.

Through architecture, furnishings, antiques, art, color, and collected details, we create spaces that feel layered, memorable, and meant to be used. Every project carries its own atmosphere and personality, shaped around the people living, gathering, and celebrating inside it.

Whether we’re restoring a historic farmhouse, designing a boutique hotel, or furnishing a family home, the approach stays the same: creating spaces people feel connected to long after they move in.
