HIDDEN BAR AT THE NOELLE

The Hidden Bar sits beneath the Noelle, a 1930s Art Deco hotel in downtown Nashville. The neighborhood already carried a certain mood to it, so we leaned into that instead of fighting it. The goal was a speakeasy with grit and character. The kind of place that feels like it’s been there longer than anyone can remember.

We filled the space with vintage and antique pieces that had real presence. Gothic arches. A dramatic 1970s Murano chandelier. Red and yellow neon cutting through the darker corners of the room.

The layout gives people options. Low seating if the night stretches longer than expected. Booths and banquettes for groups that want to disappear into their own conversation. Higher seating for someone stopping in for one drink that turns into three.
