BATHROOMS
Our bathroom designs prioritize maximizing space and simplifying routines for everyone in your home. Thoughtfully planned layouts and custom cabinetry keep essentials within reach and clutter out of sight. Beyond organization, we incorporate layered materials like marble and artisanal tile alongside features like steam showers, transforming the bathroom into a retreat that feels anything but ordinary. Explore our portfolio to see how each design blends style with functionality, offering spaces that support comfort and ease every day.
Like us, the owner of this historic Travis Heights home in Austin, Texas felt an abiding love for New Orleans style design. French Colonial-style details transformed this emergency room doctor’s sunroom into a closet and bathroom fit for a king.
Alongside elegant molding and a simple but graceful custom vanity design, we selected singular details such as burled mahogany doors and stamped clay. Evident symmetry between elements flowing horizontally through the room was a triumph for our team’s hand and harmonized the space as much as the light lavender color story.
We rearranged the bottom half of this first floor and added a full bathroom! We are especially fond of this color story
We drew on our client’s love of early 20th-century design and the charm of her 100-year-old Hyde Park cottage. We engineered volume by removing the tub and relocating the plumbing to accommodate a gorgeous standing shower lined with white marble tile. Exceedingly handsome antiques layered beautifully with the elegant materials in this lav. A Louis Phillippe mirror, antique dresser converted into a wide vanity, antique French pediment over the tall linen cabinet, and vintage petticoat pendant light completed the touch of radiant and rare appointments to this sophisticated space.
We also removed the tub in this bathroom and went curbless to help transition to aging in place. We lined the perimeter of the flooring with a wider format tile, which always kicks things up a notch
We can be restrained at times as well, though not as much as maximalist spaces. This child’s bathroom got the abstract fabric treatment on the roman shade, and we simply love the primary bath in the master suite. The perfect mix of materials here of limestone and rift cut oak.
