NASHVILLE FARMHOUSE

The clients bought acreage with a dilapidated 1880 farmhouse planning to tear it down. Then one night, while going through old family photos, they recognized the house in one of them. Their third great grandfather had built it.

That changed everything.

We gutted the interior and rebuilt most of the foundation by hand. We restored the original brick fireplaces and salvaged the wood for new mantels, which the clients crafted themselves. We refinished a chest they found on the property, added a family heirloom rug, hung a tapestry from the Paris flea market, and finally brought home a tole chandelier they had been eyeing for years in a local antique shop.
